Students
Students interested in earning a graduate certificate in energetics at the University of Maryland are now able to do so. Starting Fall 2009, CECD together with the Office of Advanced Engineering Education will be offering an online graduate program leading to a graduate certificate in energetics.

"For those working in the field of energetics" says Prof. James Short, an online graduate program advisor, "earning the graduate certificate is an affordable way to retool and keep current with the latest technological developments. For others, it is a way to develop a new area of expertise so as to further their career."

The certificate program is open to qualified applicants holding a regionally accredited baccalaureate degree in engineering or a related field. To earn the certificate, students will need to successfully complete four core courses offered by the Office of Advanced Engineering Education.
