ANNOUNCEMENT
We are pleased to announce the Second National Capital Region Energetics Symposium (NCRES). The symposium will be held November 1-2, 2011 at the College of Southern Maryland in La Plata, MD. The meeting will provide a forum for unclassified papers in the areas of energetics research, development, and manufacturing technology.

OBJECTIVE
The objective of the National Capital Region Energetics Symposium is to provide researchers, developers, engineers, scientists, and program managers in Washington D.C, Maryland, and Virginia (government, academia, and industry) a forum for the exchange of information on current work related to the advancement of the technology and application of energetics and energetics systems.

CLASSIFICATION
The National Capital Region Energetics Symposium will be held at the UNCLASSIFIED level. Attendance and distribution of the proceedings is open to other government agencies, academia, and industry.
